When you enrol by email you will be sent payment information. Payment for full term classes must be received no later than Saturday 26th October, if you cannot finalise payment by this date it is recommended that you sign up for casual attendance. All casual classes must be paid by bank transfer, cash or card payment on the night of class.
All Burlesque & Fire classes are 18+ and open to all gender expressions; LGBTQIA2S+ welcoming.

Ja’mie Displays is an internationally booked and blessed, choreographer, performer and drag queen. This is the class not to miss! Inspired by the sexy beach towel scene in Kylie Minogue’s ‘Slow’ this Commercial Jazz class will be very sassy and lean into the world of Burlesque with the opportunity for some optional costume reveals.

Gogo’s BumBum Camp – Teacher: Gogo Bumhole
It’s not a performance Boot Camp; it’s a BumBum Camp! Soloists and Performance Groups, get ready to hone your stage presence and explore the potential of your individual/group acts. Gogo will have you feeling confident on stage and will work with you to become the most watchable version of yourself. Gogo will draw on their background in physical theatre, clown, dance and drag and share with you what has been the most useful tools they've gained over 10 years of training/performing across the world.
Gogo aka Siobhan has been teaching performance workshops for many years, and credits this workshop name idea to Neridah Waters (Artistic Director of COMMON PEOPLE DANCE PROJECT) who they've taught with for over three years now.

Book your Private Class with the BBSOP teacher of your choice.
All of the BBSOP teachers are available for one-on-one sessions which are perfect for perfecting your new solo or group acts, polishing up for a Pin-Up Pageant or to master new skills (movement, prop or confidence). The one-on-one environment allows your teacher to focus on your personal strengths and weaknesses and help to make you a stronger performer. HENS PARTIES
BB le Buff’s School of Performance offers custom Burlesque, Hula Hoop, 1960s Go-Go, 1970s Disco, Amped for the 80s and 90s, Mad Men and Great Gatsby themed hens events. Our popular hens parties are now available across South-East Queensland so make your enquiry now! Enjoy a fun night to remember with your best gal pals and we’ll bring everything to you! Add some memorable moments to your hens night; it’s an excellent way to loosen up before your big night out and for your party to get to know each other. LOCATION: Your place or ours!
COST: $300 for 10 people for a standard 2 hour party. Each additional guest costs $15.

BB le Buff - Director - School of Performance BB started out her dance training in traditional dance styles such as, jazz ballet, contemporary, funk and tap; and her love of classic musical movies took her at the tender age of 7 to pursue training in competitive Ballroom Dance as well. She studied Burlesque with Lola the Vamp in 2007 and after one Term of classes was invited to perform on her national tour. She has never looked back and has been performing burlesque ever since! BB started her School of Performance in 2009. BB started her circus training with Vulcana Women's Circus and then also took classes at Circa and attended intensive workshops at the Tasmanian Circus Festival; as well as many other short courses. She went on to work for Circa and is still a casual trainer for Vulcana. You have seen BB perform on tours and the festival circuit across Australia and internationally. Including Woodford Folk Festival, Australian Burlesque Festival, Gorelesque, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Perth International Burlesque Festival, Splendour in the Grass and more! Ja'mie DisplaysJa’mie is a Brisbane/Meanjin born Dancer, Singer, Drag Queen and Choreographer. Ja’mie received his Diploma of Dance after training at Queensland Dance School of Excellence and his Certificate IV in Performing Arts after 12 months study at ED5 International in Sydney. Jamie then made the move overseas living in London, LA, Tokyo, Singapore and Beijing working alongside world class Choreographers and Directors. Jamie’s career highlights include-

Bee-Bee RiotOriginally from Kempsey in NSW, Bee Bee Riot began busking at the age of 14, and she hasn’t looked back since. “Mum would drop me off, and I would play for hours, I think that’s where my performing energy and stamina comes from,” she told Star Observer. ‘A Tartan-Clad Bisexual Jack Black’Now Bee Bee leads an almost double life; by day, she works as a children’s performer delivering energetic music to kindy kids across Brisbane; by night, “I become a tartan-clad bisexual Jack Black”. Things really began to kick off for Bee Bee Riot in 2021 when she took out the grand prize in the Wing of the Cloud Competition; winning a $10,000 prize.

Zelphia MannZelphia Mann (Mr Mann if you’re nasty) is a non-binary drag and burlesque performer in Meanjin QLD. They may look like an Eshay but this mulletted, muscled hottie has a sensitive and sensual side often infusing the art of tease and a high dose of camp in their performances. Jenna Renna Ra RaJenna has been dancing since she was four, but the 1960’s dance craze holds a special place in her heart. GoGo BumholeSiobhan Gibbs is a theatre maker and performer in Meanjin. She uses pronouns she/her. She studied Drama and Human Services at QUT and has trained with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre since 2017, becoming a company member in 2018 and completing their Creative Entrepreneur internship program in 2019. She composed for and performed Sebastien in their 2019 production of The Tempest, and as Salvador Dali in their production of The Unspeakable Dreams of Salvador Dali (2019). Siobhan is a member of the theatre company Chance Collective. She most recently devised and performed in their Anywhere Award-winning production The Nest (2019, Anywhere Theatre Festival). Chance Collective have also produced original works for The Starlight Foundation (2019), Ruckus Fest (2019), and Spill City (2020). In 2020 Siobhan performed in a sell-out season of Backbone’s original musical, Absolute Objectivity. In the same year she debuted her performance persona Gogo Bumhole at Candy Social Club. Since then, Gogo has performed a durational work at the queer club night Shandy and will be continuing her practice in the queer nightlife circuit into 2021. Atlas GreyMiss Atlas Grey loves a good sparkle, feather and dramatic lighting. A classically trained ballerina who has ditched the tutu (mostly) to get down and flirty with her newfound love for burlesque. Susie LiqueurSusie Liqueur has a passion for performance. She has danced since she was 8yrs old, and is CSTD trained in jazz, tap and ballet. After touring the US with her dance troupe as a young adult; Susie discovered the wonderful, weird and wild world of cabaret. Polly Neesha Trained in traditional polynesian culture since a young child. Performed in culture groups of Maori, Samoan, Tahitian and the Cook Islands. Studied at Cut Above Academy in Auckland in special effects and stage makeup. Directed makeup for the annual Shakespeare in the Park shows for 3 years before moving to Brisbane.
Specialising in fast hula from Tahiti and the Cook Islands and slow hula from Hawaii. And both short and long Traditional Maori poi dance.

Shan PagneShan Pagne started hooping over a decade ago just to try something new, have fun and meet new people and very quickly became obsessed. Since starting hooping, Shan has studied and performed with the incomparable BB le Buff, not only at regular CaBBeret's, but also a number of charity and paid performances. She has taken masterclasses with visiting artists to hone her craft and has also choreographed and performed several solo routines. She loves a good performance and a better costume and cannot wait to pass this hooping and performance passion on! |
